He’s not usually the type to pass up the opportunity for an argument as his past public fighting experience suggests.
But Chris Brown insists a recent veiled threat from a self-proclaimed gang member has not scared him.
The singer addressed a conflict out a Hollywood nightclub earlier in the week, saying he is not worried about what a man, claiming to be part of Los Angeles gang the Crips, shouted at him.
While leaving an art studio on Friday, he told the media about the incident: ‘It's L.A. brother. You just gotta keep your head down and keep walking.’
Chris was shrugging off a clash where an unnamed man asked him if his Lamborghini car was bulletproof in an expletive-filled rant after partying at the Playhouse venue on Wednesday.
The man apparently went very near to the vehicle and inquired: ‘Yo, scary-a** Chris, is that motherf****r bulletproof?!
‘I ain't never seen a n***er jump in a car that fast, n***er.’
Although Chris eventually drove away from the scene, he did chime back with equally offensive language and asked if the gang member himself is bulletproof.
The man replied, ‘I'm a crip n***er, hell yeah, I'm bulletproof!’
The following evening Chris put on a brave face to attend the Valentine’s Day launch of British fashion retailer Topshop at the Grove shopping centre in West Hollywood.
