Goodluck Jonathan our current president spent $1million of aid money to entice international popstars such as Beyonce and Jay-Z to perform at a music festival. Nigeria Known to be in the poverty-stricken country has hosted alot of celebrities of in the name on entertainment.
A letter stamped and signed by Bayelsa State officials in 2006 revealed that President Goodluck Jonathan, then the Governor of the state, released 150million Nigerian Nairas from the state’s poverty alleviation fund for the inaugural Star Music Festival in the city of Lagos in 2006, according to the media.

The poverty alleviation fund's mission is to improve the capabilities, livelihoods and well-being of disadvantaged poor communities, in particular ethnic minority communities in Nigeria.

I am sure Jay-Z and Beyonce were not expecting this when they came to Nigeria in 2006. Am not surprise the Government did this. I am a key witness of how this poverty alleviation funds do not get to Nigerians. Did you know Nigeria gets this poverty alleviation funds every year?... It high time we Nigerians rise up to all this wrongdoings by our so called government.
