Funke Akindele was born on the 24th of August 1976. As a young girl, Funke had a dream to become a big Actress, writer, and producer. With an OND in mass communication from Ogun state Polytecnic at the age of 19. In 1997, turning 20, Funke attended an audition at Swift Studios for a TV series on teenage reproductive health, titled 'I Need to Know'. She got the leading role of 'Bisi' where she had to talk like a teenager. By this time she was a law student at the University of Lagos. In 2009 she won the African Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role

Funke Akindele is stylish, smart, elegant, and fashionable woman. No wonder at every event she appears looking extremely ravishing. The star actress, Funke Akindele has been styled by Liam Fashion Agency and many more. Her sense of fashion is tremendously intriguing as she graces herself in such a characteristic manner. 

I have choosen Funke Akindele Oloyede today because I believe her fashion style has been imprinted on peoples lives. Since her movie "Jenifa" was out, I have seen people wear the type of hair and style of clothing she wore in the movie. Now, that's my vision  to bring out those who has given back to the society and having a role to play in it. I hope I get to interview her about fashion sense in future.
