A softball fan was saved from serious injury when his Apple tablet deflected an errant foul ball away from his face.The incident is believed to have happened during a University of Northern Iowa match in Cedar Falls, Iowa, last week. But instead of smashing his nose to pieces, it hit the device and bounced elsewhere into the stands. The man, sitting behind the netting, shrugged off the near-miss with a chuckle and went back to filming the game to get the video.
