Congolese Designer Lookbook: Tina Lobondi “Biso Na Biso” Autumn/Winter 2013 Collection

Tina Lobondi is a London based Womenswear Designer specializing in High End women's ready-to-wear. Born in Kinshasa (Congo), she grew up in Lorraine (France) where she studied Fashion Design Realisation.

According to the designer, “The collection was inspired by the women in my family, especially my youngest aunt. She is the one who used to take me shopping and taught me all about quality clothing. After our Summer 13 Collection “Uptown Africa”, I wanted to create something even more feminine. We used a lot of Duchess Satin and warm colours. The cuts and shapes are still quite simple and elegant with the identity of the Tina Lobondi Brand.”

Lookbook: Colcci Menswear Spring-Summer 2014 Collection

Colcci had the most long runway show with almost 70 looks. The theme for the collection was “Geometric Garden” and the geometric prints set the tone for the whole collection. The highlights of the show were the full white looks, the black and whites, and the juxtaposition of prints.

I am absolutely amazed and speechless by the beauty of Rami Kadi's Couture collection called "Les Jardins Suspendus". Literally all dresses meet the criteria to be seen on the red carpet and be proudly wore by one of the stars. Range of soft and sensitive pastel colors imbues this couture collection making it a true wonder come true. From gorgeous and cute cocktail dresses to the red carpet and ball gowns Rami Kadi collection satisfy all needs for the perfect dress. Unique design and cut-outs is what stands out in this collection the most. Followed by the lace, ruffles and incredibly amazing embellishments these dresses remained me on a fairy tale gowns. Inspired by the beauty and femininity these gowns were made to be admired and honored and as such I am looking forward to see one of the celebrities shining in one of these masterpieces.

Luxury Lookbook : Vlisco Hommage A L’Art Collection 2013

The Hommage à l’Art collection honours Vlisco’s art by placing our iconic drawings in the spotlight. This theme evolves from out of this year concentrate on craftsmanship. Vlisco’s fabrics are known for their expressive drawings and this is just one of the things that make our brand so unique and beloved by our consumers. This collection pays tribute to Vlisco’s drawings in a number of ways. From the feminine florals that draw on our batik heritage to modern hand-drawn abstract designs, the collection features a wide range of icons. For the first time, some of the drawings have been printed using different techniques, so that the same design is repeated in Java and Wax-block fabrics. Various heritage drawings were also reinterpreted to give their stories a podium. These heritage drawings inspired our designers to create new fabric designs, using an amalgam of famous Vlisco icons literally placed on a pedestal.

The world's biggest family: The man with 39 wives, 94 children and 33 grandchildren

He is head of the world's biggest family - and says he is 'blessed' to have his 39 wives. 

Ziona Chana also has 94 children, 14-daughters-in-law and 33 grandchildren. 

They live in a 100-room, four storey house set amidst the hills of Baktwang village in the Indian state of Mizoram, where the wives sleep in giant communal dormitories.

Weird News: New Zealand Officially Reveals Banned Baby Names

New Zealand officials have released a list of baby names put forward by parents that were rejected because they were too bizarre or offensive, including "Lucifer" and "Mafia No Fear".The list of 77 names reveals one child was set to be called "Anal" before the Department of Internal Affairs vetoed the proposal, while another narrowly avoided being dubbed "." or full stop.Other names on the list included "4Real", "V8", and "Queen Victoria". "Justice" was the most popular, having been rejected 62 times, although "Justus" and "Juztice" also failed to gain official approval.

LMAO! I think they should create the banning of some names in Nigeria too.
