VogueImprint Exclusive: 'American Idol' star Syesha Mercado talks ‘Dreams’
Syesha Mercado (2nd runner up of American Idol's 7th season) in the coming days to discuss her starring role as Mia in independently produced film, Dreams, opposite of Vickie Winans, Marvin Winans Jr, Terri Vaughn, Tommy Ford, Lou Myers, Jazmine Lewis, Mel Jackson, Angie Stone, and a host of other veteran actors. The film will be distributed by Lion's Gate Tomorrow 28th Jan 2014.
She also made her official Broadway debut this month in "The Book of Mormon" in NYC. She stars in the 9x Tony Award winning show as Nabulungi, the female lead in the cast.
